How do I change the text in a screenshot?

Upload the screenshot, choose "Replace text" and drag a box around the words. The editor removes them with a smart background fill, detects the text colour, size and baseline, reads the old text with OCR and lets you type the new text; "Auto-match font" compares fonts such as Roboto (Android), Inter (iPhone style), Segoe UI, Arial and Noto Sans pixel by pixel to pick the closest one. Then download the image at its original resolution.

  • Zoom to 200% for small text, and hold Compare to see the original.
  • The image keeps its original size and format (PNG stays PNG).

Use it honestly

Edit only your own screenshots or images you have permission to change. Do not use edited screenshots to mislead people — for example as fake messages, payment proofs or evidence; that can be fraud.
