Image Resizer

Resize images to exact pixels or a percentage, keeping the aspect ratio. Bulk resize, no upload.

How do I resize an image without distorting it?

Resizing changes an image's pixel dimensions. To avoid stretching, keep the aspect ratio: set only the width or height and the other side is calculated automatically.

Three ways to resize

  • Width only — e.g. 1200 px; the height follows the original proportions.
  • Width and height — the image fits inside the box without distortion (untick "Keep aspect ratio" to force exact dimensions).
  • Percentage — e.g. 50 % halves both sides.

Resizing uses high-quality smoothing. To change the shape of the image, use the Image Cropper; to reduce file size further, run the result through the Image Compressor.
