How to crop
- Choose one or more images.
- Pick an aspect ratio — 1:1 for profile pictures, 16:9 for video, 9:16 for stories, 1.91:1 for link previews — or a custom size in pixels.
- Choose which part to keep: centre, top, bottom, left, right or a corner.
- Download the cropped images.
The cropper keeps the largest possible area of the original that fits the ratio, so no quality is lost. For custom sizes, the exact pixel area is cut from the position you choose.
Crop or resize?
Cropping changes the shape by removing pixels; resizing changes the size by scaling. To get an exact size such as 1200 × 630, crop to the ratio first (1.91:1) and then use the Image Resizer.
Frequently asked questions
Will cropping reduce quality?
No, the remaining pixels are not scaled. Saving as JPG or WebP re-encodes at high quality.
Can I crop several photos the same way?
Yes, all selected images get the same ratio and position.
Is my image uploaded?
No, cropping happens in your browser.
