From Google PageRank and MozRank to Open PageRank
Google's toolbar PageRank (0–10) and Moz's MozRank were the classic link-popularity scores. Both were retired. Open PageRank provides a free, openly calculated replacement on the same 0–10 scale, updated every month.
| Metric | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Open PageRank (0–10) | Link popularity of the whole domain |
| Global rank | Position among all ranked domains |
| Referring domains | How many different sites link to the domain |
| Monthly history | How the score changed month by month |
Reading the history
- Steady growth — the site keeps earning links.
- Sudden drop — lost links, a site move without redirects, or an expired domain.
- Flat at 0 — no other websites link to the domain yet.
