Ad metrics compare cost and results: CPM is the cost per 1,000 impressions, CPC the cost per click, CTR the share of impressions that were clicked, CPA the cost per conversion and ROAS the revenue earned per unit of ad spend.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good ROAS?

Many businesses aim for 3–4x, but break-even ROAS depends on your margin: with a 25 % margin you need at least 4x.

What is a good CTR?

Search ads often get 3–6 %, display ads under 1 %; compare with your own history.

Is ROAS the same as ROI?

No. ROAS uses revenue; ROI uses profit after all costs.
