Sign PDF (Add Signature)

Sign a PDF online: draw, type or upload your signature and place it on the page — free and private.

How can I sign a PDF online for free?

Choose the PDF, then type your name, upload a signature image, or press Continue to draw your signature with a mouse or finger. The signature is placed at the position you choose, optionally with today’s date, and you download the signed copy.

Three ways to sign

  1. Draw — leave the name and image fields empty and press Continue to get a signature pad (works with touch screens and styluses).
  2. Type — your name is rendered in a handwriting-style font.
  3. Upload — use a transparent PNG of your real signature for the most authentic result.

This adds a visual signature, which is accepted for most everyday documents — forms, delivery notes, simple agreements. Contracts that legally require a qualified or certificate-based digital signature need a signing service with identity verification.
