How do I make a logo for free?

Type your business name, add an optional slogan and pick your industry. How to create your logo

  1. Enter your business name, an optional slogan and your industry, then press Generate logos.
  2. Filter by style (Modern, Gradient, Minimal, Luxury, Emblem, Monogram, Vintage, Retro, Neon, 3D & bold, Playful, Tech) or colour, and press Show 24 more logos as often as you like — the ideas never run out.
  3. Click a logo to customise it: text and spacing, symbol (icon, shape, initials or your own image), frame, layout, fonts, colour style, effects and background.
  4. Download it. The preview also shows how your logo looks on a business card, on a dark background and as a round profile picture.

Tips for a strong logo

  • Keep the name short and readable; move longer descriptions into the slogan.
  • Check the small preview: a good logo still works as a 64 px icon.
  • Use no more than two colours plus a neutral, and make sure the logo reads on both light and dark backgrounds.
  • Before you register a trademark, search your country's trademark database to make sure no similar mark exists.

Can I edit my logo later?

With a free account every download is saved to My designs, where you can open, change and download it again at any time.

Is my business name sent anywhere?

No. Logos are drawn in your browser. Only members' saved designs are stored in their account.
