How do I link to a specific time in a YouTube video?

Add ?t= followed by the start time in seconds to a youtu.be link — for example https://youtu.be/VIDEO_ID?t=75 starts at 1:15. Paste the video URL and one or more times, and the tool creates share links, embed start parameters and a chapter list.

YouTube chapter rules

  • The first timestamp must be 0:00.
  • At least three timestamps, in order.
  • Each chapter at least 10 seconds long.
