Enter the URL and our server fetches the page, removes scripts, styles and hidden elements, and counts the visible words — optionally only the main content without menus and footers — along with reading time, headings and the 20 most frequent words.

How long should content be?

There is no fixed ideal word count for SEO: the page should fully answer the searcher’s question. Compare your page with the top-ranking pages for the same keyword — if they average 1,500 words of genuinely useful content, a 300-word page may be too thin.
