Semver Checker (Version Range Tester)

Check if a version satisfies an npm semver range (^, ~, x, >=, ||), compare versions and get the next version.

Runs instantly in your browser — results update as you type.

What does ^ mean in package.json?

In npm, ^1.2.3 allows any version from 1.2.3 up to (but not including) 2.0.0 — new features and fixes, but no breaking major release. ~1.2.3 allows only patch updates below 1.3.0. Enter a version and a range to see if it matches and how the range expands.
