Use the same ingredients and steps that readers see on the page.

Paste the generated <script type="application/ld+json"> block anywhere in the page's HTML (the head is common), then validate it with Google's Rich Results Test or our Structured Data Checker. Markup must describe content that is visible on the page.

Yes, if readers rate the recipe on your page; add an aggregateRating block to the generated code.

How are times formatted?

As ISO 8601 durations such as PT20M; the generator converts minutes automatically.

Do I need nutrition information?

It is optional but helps your recipe stand out.
