Ping Test (TCP Ping)

Ping a website or server from our server and see response time, jitter and packet loss.

How do I ping a website online?

Enter a domain or IP and a port (443 by default). The tool opens five TCP connections and measures how long each handshake takes, then reports the average, minimum and maximum time, jitter and packet loss.

TCP ping vs classic ping

Classic ping uses ICMP, which many servers and firewalls block. A TCP ping connects to a real service port (80 or 443), so it works on almost every website and shows the latency users actually experience.

Latency depends on distance: our server is in Europe, so a server in Asia or America will show a higher time than for local visitors.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good ping?

Under 50 ms is excellent, 50–150 ms is normal across continents, over 200 ms feels slow for interactive use.

What is jitter?

The variation between consecutive response times; high jitter hurts calls and gaming.

Why 100% packet loss?

The host is down, the port is closed or a firewall blocks our server — try port 80 or 443.
