What is Organization schema?

Organization schema is structured data on your home or about page that tells search engines your official company name, logo, contact details and social profiles, helping them build an accurate picture of your brand.

Most important properties

  • name, url, logo — Google may use the logo in search results and knowledge panels (a square or wide image of at least 112 × 112 px).
  • sameAs — links to your official profiles (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, Wikipedia, Crunchbase). This is a key signal for entity recognition by Google and AI assistants.
  • contact and address — email, phone and postal address.

Add Organization markup once, on the home page or about page, not on every page.

Paste the generated <script type="application/ld+json"> block anywhere in the page's HTML (the head is common), then validate it with Google's Rich Results Test or our Structured Data Checker. Markup must describe content that is visible on the page.
