How do I make a professional email signature?

An email signature is the block at the end of your emails with your name, role and contact details. An HTML signature adds formatting, a photo or logo and clickable links.

How to install it

  • Gmail: Settings → See all settings → Signature → paste the preview.
  • Outlook: Settings → Mail → Compose and reply → Email signature → paste.
  • Apple Mail: Settings → Signatures → paste (untick "Always match my default message font").

Select and copy the preview (not the code) when pasting into these apps. The signature uses tables and inline styles because email clients ignore most CSS. Host your photo or logo on your website and use its full URL.

Tips

Keep it short — name, role, one phone number and a link. Add a tracked link with UTM tags from the UTM Builder to measure clicks.
