Features
- Delimiter detection — comma, semicolon, tab or pipe.
- Proper CSV parsing — quoted fields, escaped double quotes ("") and line breaks inside quotes (RFC 4180).
- Header row — use the first row as keys, or output arrays of values.
- Typed values — numbers, true, false and null become real JSON types (numbers with leading zeros, such as ZIP codes, stay text).
Example
name,age
Ann,31
becomes [{"name": "Ann", "age": 31}].

Frequently asked questions
Can it handle commas inside values?
Yes, as long as the value is wrapped in double quotes, which is the CSV standard.
Why are some numbers kept as text?
Values with leading zeros (like 007 or ZIP codes) and very long numbers stay strings so no information is lost.
Is there a size limit?
Only your browser's memory; files of several megabytes convert in seconds.
