API Tester (Online REST Client)

Send GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE requests with headers and a JSON body, and inspect the response.

How do I test an API without Postman?

Choose the method, enter the URL, add headers such as Authorization and a JSON body, and press Send request. Our server makes the request and shows the status code, response headers, the formatted JSON body and a timing breakdown (DNS, connect, TLS, first byte).

Good to know

  • Requests come from our server, so browser CORS rules do not apply.
  • Redirects are shown, not followed, so you can inspect them.
  • Responses are limited to 1 MB; only public HTTP(S) addresses on ports 80 and 443 can be called.
  • To turn the request into code, use the cURL to Code Converter.

Frequently asked questions

Are my API keys stored?

No, requests and responses are not stored. Still, avoid pasting production secrets into any website you do not control.

Can I test localhost?

No — private and local addresses are blocked for security.

Which content type is sent?

JSON bodies get application/json automatically, unless you set your own Content-Type.
