How to Run a Complete SEO Audit in 5 Minutes
A fast, practical checklist to find and fix the SEO problems that cost you rankings — using only free tools.
Most websites lose rankings to a handful of fixable problems: a missing meta description, a page that is accidentally set to noindex, images without alt text or a slow server. The good news? You can find all of them in about five minutes.
1. Run the one-click audit
Open the SEO Audit & Score tool, paste your URL and press Run SEO audit. You will get a score out of 100 and a list of issues sorted by severity — red items first.
2. Fix your title and description
Your title should be 30–65 characters and contain the main keyword near the start. The meta description should be 70–165 characters and sell the click. Preview both with the SERP Snippet Preview.
3. Make sure Google can crawl you
Check your robots.txt is not blocking important pages and that your XML sitemap is valid and listed in robots.txt.
4. Check speed and redirects
A server response under 800 ms is a great target. Use the Redirect Checker to remove chains, and the Page Size Checker to spot heavy scripts and images.
5. Make links look great when shared
Add Open Graph tags so every share on Facebook, LinkedIn or WhatsApp shows a big image. Generate them with the Open Graph Generator and verify with the Open Graph Checker.
Fix the red items first — they usually account for most of the ranking gains.
Repeat the audit after each change and watch your score climb. Happy optimising!
